For Nicholle Lovely, creative expression is a journey on one’s spiritual path. Many of her designs are expressions of her internal process and serve as a reflection of the authentic Self. Particularly fond of Jungian Psychology including dream analysis, the collective unconscious, and ancient symbolism, Nicholle began creating art in her personal journals where she played with color, texture, and design as a way to release her rage, express her suffering, and find her balance. Allowing the spirit of her African and Native American ancestors speak to her, she finds herself grounded by art, in nature, and around animals.
An organic interpretation of the Goddess archetype within Mother Nature is how one may define her art. Creating cosmic themes of spirituality, Nicholle depicts elements of metaphysics, the divine feminine, and universal Oneness in a unique and refreshing way that will inspire thought, progress, and a positive force for Life.
Nicholle Lovely is a self-taught artist from the San Francisco Bay Area. She holds a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology from the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology and has certification in Creative Expression.
In addition to, facilitating therapeutic workshops on self-empowerment utilizing techniques of holistic art therapy, Nicholle is also a teacher of dance, art, and poetry for children. Her intention is to help others step into their power and find their inner voice through holistic healing.
